What Does a Regular Cleaning Include?

Included Services:

  • Kitchen: Cleaning of the sink, countertops, fronts of upper and lower cabinets, and stovetop.
  • Surfaces: Cleaning of all exterior surfaces in every room.
  • Floors: Sweeping and mopping.
  • Bathroom: Comprehensive cleaning of the toilet, shower, handles, bathtub, and drain.
  • Bedroom: Cleaning of shelves and nightstands.
  • Windows: Cleaning the glass inside.

Services Not Included:

  • Extras: Additional services must be selected for an extra charge.
  • Deep Details: Additional time allows for more detailed work in the mentioned areas.
What Does a Deep Cleaning Include?

Included Services:

  • Everything in Regular Cleaning: Includes all services of a regular cleaning.
  • Baseboards and Details: Cleaning baseboards, light switches, and door handles.
  • Dusting: Detailed dusting of all areas.
  • Kitchen and Bathroom: Faucet fixtures.

Services Not Included:

  • Extras: Additional services must be selected for an extra charge.
What Service Do You Recommend for New Clients?

We recommend a deep cleaning for the first appointment. This allows us to address all areas that may not have been included in previous regular cleanings. After the initial deep cleaning, most clients choose bi-weekly or weekly services.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation More than 48 Hours in Advance: Full refund issued to the payment information on file.
  • Cancellation Within 48 Hours: A $50 cancellation fee applies.
  • Cancellation Within 24 Hours: Full amount charged as a non-refundable fee.
What if I Want to Skip This Week's Cleaning? Will I Still Be Charged?

No, you will not be charged if you cancel outside the 48-hour period. If canceled within this period, the service cost will be credited to your account for future use without penalty.

Will the Same Cleaner Always Come?

Not always, as cleaners may face unforeseen circumstances such as illness or leaves, we may need to send another professional.

Do I Have to Be Home When the Cleaners Arrive or Leave?

It is not necessary to be present. However, if it is your first time using our service, an initial introduction can help establish a good relationship with the specialist in your home.

Can I Trust Your Cleaners? Have Their Backgrounds Been Checked?

Yes, you can trust us completely. All our cleaners have been federally and state background checked. We hire only the best professionals.

Is Softie Cleaning Licensed, Bonded, and Insured?

Yes, we are insured for up to $1 million in general liability damages. We are licensed in the State of New Jersey and insured with Next.

Can I Leave a Key?

Yes, it’s advisable to leave a key after the first visit. This avoids delays due to traffic or parking issues.

What If Something Breaks During the Cleaning?

Although rare, accidents can happen. Please contact our office immediately to work with our insurance and replace any damaged items.

What If I Am Not Satisfied with the Cleaning After They Leave?

If you’re not satisfied, please call us immediately for further instructions. Rescheduling for a cleaning must be done within 2 business days after the original appointment.

Will I Be Charged When Booking?

Yes, a charge is made at the time of booking to secure the day and time. This policy prevents fraudulent billing and ensures pre-payment.

Do You Clean Any Outdoor Surfaces of the House?

No, we do not offer cleaning of exterior surfaces. Our insurance covers cleaners only inside your home.
